Real name : Frans de Wit DJ-ing since : 70's Music-Style : House, Club, Hard Club, Techno, Progressive, Electronic, Trance, BPM range between 125 and 145 Thanks to DMC (Disco Mix Club) he made a lot (music-industry) friends all over the world, and at the moment he has also a lot of contacts around the world trough internet, in september 2009 the DMC World Championship had its 25th anniversary in London. DJ one2one grew up with music from Deep Purple, Yes, Led Zepplin, Frank Zappa, Kinks, Rolling Stones and began dj-ing at schoolparties with music like Mud, Sweet and a few years later some soul and discotunes like chic, trammps, sister sledge, (Saturday Night Fever) Bee-Gees, Michael Jackson etc. , wich resulted in a dj career with a mobile drive in show during the seventies. He started mixing at clubs in 1979 (just after the release of a linn-drum-machine). The hip-hop scene became popular with Joseph Saddler (born in the same year as Frans), better known as Grandmaster Flash (the message) aka the man who helped invent hip hop.... Grandmaster Flash spun vinyl records alongside DJ Herc at the fabled street gatherings in The Bronx. In 1982 & 1983 Frans was also sound technician by a disco-funk-rock-latin band called "Magrib". In 1984 he had his own radio-show called HitBox wich became very popular, maybe because he played the existing dance-hits of the moment, mixed with the dance hits of the (near) future. During his radio-shows a new hobby started : doing interviews with people from the music-scene, and let them do some station calls and name jingles. He interviewed people like Gloria Estefan (with Miami Sound Machine), Lime, Five Star, Adeva, The Trammps, Sister Sledge, Allison Williams, Kraze, Tina Turner.....and many more. In 1986 he started with turntabalism, kind of acrobatics with technics SL1200 turntables. Later in 1986 the warehouse parties started with People from England (thanx 2 SOHO connection with Maz Weston, Graham B. en Paul Jay) and house music became mainstream. As dj one2one he was a resident dj in many clubs (7 years resident in Club Luxor, Holland) In 1997 DJ one2one became world-champion in Fast-Mixing (mixing 19 different vinyl records in 2 minutes). Till today there is no DJ in the world who has beat that. Nowdays he is playing House-Energy-Trance-Progressive music, mostly with many different melody-lines in one song, and is well know for his long smooth mixes ! Dj MizzFi always had a big love for all kinds of music. In her early years she likes the 80´s disco, later on rock and went to all kinds of festivalls and gigs. This was the time of Guns and Roses, Bon Jovi and Ozzy Ozborn. Her first contact with house music was in 1990 when house was an upcoming genre and was played in dark places. The love for this genre was born instantly. In the years that followed she grew in all kinds of music like Jazz, Opera, Classic and Dutch Music so she cultivalted a great hearing for sound. The last years she discoverd her great love for latin, tribal and dirty house. In 2006 she bought her first dj Vinyl set and started to practice. At Christmas 2010 she bought her fiirst pioneer Cd set and now, on the 7th May of 2011, Dj MizzFi had her first gig @ Kinky Paradise. Together with four of the male dj´s, Dj MizzFi is the Resident @ Kinky Paradise. I first started djing around about 12 years ago when i was 17. It was by chance i knew a dj in a bar and one week he asked me if i could do his set for him as he couldnt make it and gave me a brief lesson on what to do and from there i was hooked. I started getting sets playing hip hop and garage in Doncaster and sheffield and then discovered speed garage in 2001 and then started playing that. During that time myself and 2 others started a label called Gridlockd Records which became one of the biggest labels in the scene in a very short time as we were the only label making original tracks. Fast forward 12 years and in that time i played the first bassline set on bbc 1xtra, put together a compilation for ministry of sound (Maximum bass 2007) And had tracks signed to mos and all around the world (Universal). I decided in 2008 that i wasnt gonna pidgeonhole myself to one genre and went self employed as a dj and tutor. Around that time i got my own show on local legal radio station sine fm and my weekend vibes show did so well they moved me from 2-3 sat afternoon to 6-8 saturday night the show before dj legend graeme park. Nowadays i do a show called the history of Dance music on sine fm 102.6fm in Doncaster or www.sinefm.com worldwide every tuesday evening 8pm-10pm.
